In short
Istaka has no accounts, and your game progress is stored only on your device. The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob, which uses your device’s advertising ID and some technical data. The Premium purchase is verified with RevenueCat using an anonymous ID. The game has no server of its own run by the developer.
What data goes where?
| Data | Goes to | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress, daily results, streak, statistics, settings | Your device only | Running the game |
| Advertising ID | Google AdMob | Serving ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| IP address (used to estimate approximate location) | Google AdMob | Serving ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| Ad interactions (impressions, taps, video views) | Google AdMob | Serving ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| Diagnostics (e.g. app launch time, crash information) | Google AdMob | Serving ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| Anonymous ID and purchase record (which product, when) | RevenueCat | Unlocking and restoring Premium, fraud prevention, aggregate sales statistics |
| Payment details | Google Play only (App Store on iOS) | Processing the payment; the developer never sees or stores them |
Data that stays on your device
Your progress, daily puzzle results, streak, statistics, daily hint allowance and settings (sound, language, text size, etc.) are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us or to any third party. Deleting the app deletes this data from the device.
If Android’s automatic backup is turned on for your device, Android may back this data up to your Google account and restore it when you install the app on a new device with the same account. That backup is held by Google; the developer has no access to it. You can turn backup off in your Android settings.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The free version shows interstitial ads between levels. When your free daily hint is used up, you can choose to watch a rewarded ad. Ads are served by Google. The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects the advertising ID, IP address, ad interactions and diagnostics and sends them to Google. This data is used to serve ads, measure them and prevent fraud.
- EU, UK and Switzerland. Google’s consent form is shown on first launch. Personalised ads are shown only if you consent. You can change your choice in Settings → Ad preferences.
- Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
- iOS. The app asks for tracking permission. If you decline, your advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used and non-personalised ads are shown.
- Ad content is limited to ads suitable for general audiences. Premium owners do not see interstitial ads.

Premium purchase (RevenueCat)
- Premium is a one-time in-app purchase.
- Payment is processed by Google (Google Play) or Apple (App Store). We never see or store your payment details.
- The purchase is verified through RevenueCat. For this, the app sends RevenueCat a randomly generated anonymous ID and the purchase record issued by the store (which product, when it was bought). This record is not linked to your name, email address or advertising ID.
- This information is used only to unlock Premium, restore purchases, prevent fraud and produce aggregate sales statistics. It is not sold and not used for advertising.

Sharing and notifications
When you share a daily puzzle result, the text goes through your device’s share menu to the app you choose; it is not sent to us. Reminder notifications are scheduled on your device and no data is sent for them. You can turn notifications off in your Android settings.
Transfers and security
Data sent to Google and RevenueCat is encrypted in transit (TLS). These services process data on their own servers under their own policies; those servers may be outside the European Union, for example in the USA. The game has no server of its own run by the developer.
Children
Istaka is not directed at children and does not target children under 13. Ads are not tagged as child-directed; ad content is limited to ads suitable for general audiences.
Your rights and deletion requests
- Account. Istaka does not create accounts, so there is no account or account data to delete.
- Data on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android settings, deletes all game data on the device.
- Ad data. You can change your choices in Settings and in your Android settings. For data held by Google, use Google’s privacy tools.
- Purchase record. To have your anonymous purchase record deleted, write to kefukar@gmail.com and include your store order number (from your Google Play or App Store receipt) so we can find the record. After deletion you can still recover your purchase through the store with “Restore purchases”.
