In short
Ruinsweep has no accounts, and your game progress stays on your device. The game is supported by ads: ads are served by Google AdMob, which uses device data such as the advertising ID. Optional purchases are verified with RevenueCat using an anonymous ID. The game has no server of its own run by the developer.
What data goes where?
| Data | Goes to | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress, daily results, statistics, collection, settings | Your device only | Running the game |
| Advertising ID | Google AdMob | Serving ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| IP address (used to estimate approximate location) | Google AdMob | Serving ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| Device and app information (model, operating system, language) | Google AdMob | Serving ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| Ad interactions (impressions, taps) | Google AdMob | Serving ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| Anonymous ID and purchase record (which product, when) | RevenueCat | Unlocking and restoring purchases, fraud prevention, aggregate sales statistics |
| Payment details | Google Play only (App Store on iOS) | Processing the payment; the developer never sees or stores them |
Data that stays on your device
Your game progress, daily results, statistics, collection and settings (sound, language, text size, etc.) are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes this data from the device.
If Android’s automatic backup is turned on for your device, Android may back this data up to your Google account and restore it when you install the app on a new device with the same account. That backup is held by Google; the developer has no access to it. You can turn backup off in your Android settings.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The game has two kinds of ads: interstitial ads between games, and rewarded ads that you choose to watch (for a hint or a revive). To serve and measure ads and to prevent abuse, Google AdMob receives the following from your device: the advertising ID (Android advertising ID; on iOS the IDFA only if you allow it), IP address, device and app information (model, operating system, language) and ad interactions (impressions, taps).
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Personalised ads are used only if you agree in the consent form shown at launch. You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices.
- Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
- iOS. The advertising ID is used only if you allow tracking instead of choosing “Ask App Not to Track”. The game works the same either way; ads are then not personalised.
- The ad content rating is capped at “general audiences” (G).

Purchases: Full Game and No Ads (RevenueCat)
- The Full Game and No Ads are one-time in-app purchases. No Ads removes interstitial ads; rewarded ads remain optional.
- Payment is processed by Google (Google Play) or Apple (App Store). We never see or store your payment details.
- The purchase is verified through the purchase validation service RevenueCat. For this, the app sends RevenueCat a randomly generated anonymous ID and the purchase record issued by the store (which product, when it was bought). This record is not linked to your name, email address or advertising ID.
- This information is used only to unlock and restore purchases, prevent fraud and produce aggregate sales statistics; it is not used for advertising.
- When the app starts, only the anonymous ID is sent to RevenueCat to check whether you own a purchase.

Sharing
When you share a daily result, the text goes through your device’s share menu to the app you choose. It is not sent to us.
Transfers and security
Ad and purchase data is encrypted in transit. Google and RevenueCat process data on their own servers under their own policies; these servers may be outside Europe, for example in the USA. The game has no server of its own run by the developer.
Children
Ruinsweep is not directed at children and does not target children under 13. Ads are not tagged as child-directed; the ad content rating is capped at general audiences (G).
Your rights and deletion requests
- Account. Ruinsweep does not create accounts, so there is no account or account data to delete.
- Data on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android settings, deletes all game data on the device.
- Ad data. Change your consent choice in Settings › Ad privacy choices and reset your advertising ID in your Android settings. For data held by Google, use the options described in Google’s policy above.
- Purchase record. To have your anonymous purchase record deleted, write to kefukar@gmail.com and include your store order number (from your Google Play or App Store receipt) so we can find the record. After deletion you can still recover your purchase through the store with “Restore purchases”.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated text will be published on this page with a new effective date.
