What is Ruinsweep?

Ruinsweep is a deduction roguelike that anyone who knows minesweeper can pick up at once. Every number on an opened tile is the total danger of the traps in the eight tiles around it. The player reads the numbers, digs safe tiles, spends health and tools strategically, collects treasure and descends floor by floor to the bottom of the ruins.

How do you play Ruinsweep?

The player digs tiles, flags certain traps and weighs the risk when unsure. Stepping on a trap costs as much health as the trap’s danger. When the stairs are found, the player can descend or stay on the floor for treasure. Every correctly flagged trap earns extra gold.

What is in the Expedition?

The Expedition is the main mode: a journey through 4 regions and 12 floors. The maximum trap danger rises region by region, and the third floor of every region is a Sealed Chamber with rule-bending seals. An expedition takes 25–35 minutes; a floor takes 2–3 minutes.

Which explorers are there?

There are three explorers, each with a different play style. The Explorer is available from the start; the Veteran and the Scholar unlock through play. They differ in health and in the tool or relic they start the expedition with.

What is Classic mode?

Classic is no-guess minesweeper. Every board is generated so that it can be solved without a single guess, and the first dig is always safe. Chording, flags, hints, restart and zoom are supported; records are kept both as best time and as best time without hints.

How do the daily modes work?

There are two daily modes, and in both everyone plays the same board each day. In the Daily Dig the region rotates with the day of the week, with a Sealed Chamber on Sundays. The Daily Classic gives everyone the same Medium board. You get one attempt per day, and 730 days of content ship inside the app.

Which accessibility options are there?

Ruinsweep has a colour-blind mode, three text sizes (100%, 115%, 130%) and reduced motion. The game supports the TalkBack and VoiceOver screen readers. There are sound effects and vibration, and no music. It is designed for portrait play, one-handed, in short sessions.

Is Ruinsweep free?

The first region of Ruinsweep is free. The rest of the expedition (Regions 2–4) and all explorers unlock with a one-time Full Game purchase. There are no subscriptions, no loot boxes and no currency for sale; gold is earned only by playing.

Ruinsweep has no accounts, sign-in or cloud saves; progress is stored only on the device. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which uses the advertising ID, IP address, device information and ad interactions. Full Game and No Ads purchases are verified with RevenueCat using an anonymous ID.
