In short

Wagglewood has no accounts and no game server of its own, and it works offline: your game progress stays on your device. The game contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools. The game is supported by ads: ads are served by Google AdMob, which uses device data such as the advertising ID. Optional purchases are verified through RevenueCat.

Data that stays on your device

The following is stored only on your device, in the app’s own storage, and is not sent to us: your game progress (Park hands in progress; your Foster Home, meaning its corners, items, beds, pups and readiness progress; the Home Book, postcards and reunions; statistics, records and your Daily Park streak); your settings (sound, vibration, language, text size, accessibility, reminder time, etc.); a copy of your purchase status, so that what you bought stays unlocked offline; and a counter for the interstitial-ad frequency limit (hands finished, time of the last ad, ads shown that day). Deleting the app deletes all of this data from the device.

If device backup is turned on, this data can be included in it: Android’s automatic backup saves it to your Google account, an iPhone backup to iCloud (or your computer), and it may be restored when you install the app on a new device with the same account. These backups are held by Google or Apple; the developer has no access to them. You can turn backup off in your device settings; deleting the app does not delete an existing backup.

Progress code

With Settings › Progress › Progress code you can export your progress and settings (except the reminder setting) as text or a QR code to move them to another device. The code is created on your device only when you ask for it, and it contains no information such as your name, email address or advertising ID. Copying, sharing and keeping the code is up to you: it is not sent to us. Anyone who has the code can load your progress on their own device, so keep it somewhere you trust. Purchases are not part of the code; on a new device you recover them with Restore purchases in the store screen.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The game has two kinds of ads: interstitial ads shown from time to time when you tap One more hand at the end of a Park hand, and rewarded ads that you choose to watch (to continue a hand, for an extra helper, or to double your treats). No ads are shown during play, at launch, in Nap, in the Daily Park or in the Foster Home; there are no banner ads. To serve and measure ads and to prevent abuse, Google AdMob receives the following from your device: the advertising ID and other device identifiers, IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device and app information (model, operating system, language), ad interactions (impressions, taps) and diagnostics (ad loading performance and errors).

Transfers and security

Ad and purchase data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Google and RevenueCat process data on their own servers under their own policies; these servers may be outside Türkiye and Europe (for example, in the USA). Such international transfers rely on the providers’ safeguards (for example, EU Standard Contractual Clauses). The game has no server of its own run by the developer.

Personal data is processed under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) on the bases below. The data is collected electronically and automatically through the Google AdMob and RevenueCat software components in the app, and transferred to Google and RevenueCat for the purposes described above.

Children

Wagglewood is designed for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. The game does not ask for a name, age or email address, and the ad content rating is capped at “parental guidance” (PG). If you believe a child under 13 has played the game and data about them has been processed, write to kefukar@gmail.com: we will delete the purchase record at RevenueCat and show you how to handle ad data held by Google. For data on the device, Reset progress or deleting the app is enough.
