Tile Breaker: Okey Roguelike

Tile Breaker is a single-player roguelike played with okey tiles. You build runs and sets, multiply your plays with charms and climb table by table. There are no ads and the game plays fully offline.

What is Tile Breaker?

Tile Breaker is a single-player game that turns the runs and sets of okey — a Turkish rummy game — into a score-multiplying roguelike. Each round the player plays hands from the rack to reach a target score, and between rounds buys charms at the bazaar. A round takes 1–3 minutes; a full run takes 25–45 minutes.

How do you play Tile Breaker?

The bag holds 54 tiles: numbers 1 to 13 in four colours plus 2 Fake Okeys. You draw 14 tiles to your rack. Each round an indicator tile is revealed; the tile one above it is that round’s okey and is wild. You play a selection of tiles, or discard 1–5 tiles and draw replacements.

• Run. At least 3 consecutive tiles of one colour. 12-13-1 is valid, 13-1-2 is not.
• Set. 3 or 4 tiles of one number in different colours.
• Score. The hand type sets Value and Mult; the score is Value × Mult.
• Plays and discards. The Classic rack gives 4 plays and 3 discards per round.
• Target. Reach the target score before your plays run out to win the round; otherwise the run ends.

Which hand types are there?

Tile Breaker has 11 hand types: Run, Set, Long Run, Quad Set, Two Groups, Three Groups, Four Groups, Big Run, King Run, Okey Finish and Loose. Okey Finish is the hand that uses all 14 tiles on the rack. Mastery cards level up a hand type.

How does a run progress?

A run has 8 tables, each with 3 rounds: Apprentice, Journeyman and Master. Target scores across the 24 rounds grow steeply — Table 1 starts at 250 and Table 8 at 72,000. Beating the Table 8 Master wins the run, and you can then carry on in Endless mode.

How do charms and the bazaar work?

Charms are permanent upgrades that change how scoring works. There are 30 charms and you can hold up to 5 at a time. You reorder them by dragging, and scoring runs in that order. At the bazaar between rounds you spend akçe on charms, fortune cards and mastery cards.

• 30 charms from a Turkish teahouse. For example Tea Stove, Samovar, Evil Eye Bead, Turkish Delight, Backgammon Dice, Simit and Dolmuş.
• 12 fortune cards. Turn tiles Gold, Glass, Pearl or Amber; remove, copy or transform tiles.
• 11 mastery cards. Each raises one hand type by a level.
• Akçe. Earned only by playing. Saved akçe earns interest; bazaar offers can be rerolled for akçe.

How do Masters change the rules?

The last round of every table is a Master, who changes that round’s rules. There are 8 Master Rules: No Red, Short Breath, Blind Indicator, Stingy, Impatient, No Sets, Face Down and No Wilds. You see the table’s Master in advance, so you can arrange your charms for it.

What are racks, Brew and the Daily Table?

There are three starting racks: Classic; Blue, with one extra play; and Red, with one extra discard but no starting akçe. Blue and Red unlock through play. Brew is a ladder of 8 difficulty levels whose effects stack. On the Daily Table everyone plays the same tiles each day and a streak is kept.

Which accessibility options are there?

In colour-blind mode every colour is also marked with a symbol (●▲■◆). Text size, animation speed (1×, 2×, 4×), sound and vibration are adjustable. The game can be closed at any moment; autosave resumes the run where you left off. A guided first run teaches the rules in the game.

Is Tile Breaker free?

The first three tables of Tile Breaker are free. After you beat the Table 3 Master, a one-time Full Game purchase screen appears; if you buy, the run continues without interruption. The Full Game unlocks all 8 tables, all racks, Brew levels and Endless mode. There are no ads, no loot boxes and no currency for sale.

What data does Tile Breaker use?

Tile Breaker does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, ads, advertising identifiers, analytics or tracking tools, and progress is stored only on the device. The app connects to the internet only to verify the Full Game purchase with RevenueCat using an anonymous ID.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play Tile Breaker offline?

Yes, fully. The internet is needed only to buy, verify and restore the Full Game.

Does my progress move to a new phone?

Tile Breaker has no account or cloud save. If Android’s automatic backup is on, progress is backed up to your Google account and can be restored on a new device set up with the same account. The Full Game comes back through “Restore Purchases” with the same Google Play account.
